Question: Which (Muslim) Blogs Do You Read?

a-puzzle-of-paint

I follow about 30-40 blogs using Google Reader.  Among them are Engadget, Gizmodo, Write to Done, LifeHacker, and  others.  But, I also keep up-to-date with a number of Muslim blogs.

So start sharing the Muslim blogs you enjoy reading with others in the comments section.

  1. Your comment is exactly why I put up this post. I would say that the majority of the blogs you listed I had never heard of.

Please place a space between the “-” and the site link. I want people to be able to access other Muslim blogs as easily as possible. One of the goals of The Muslim Blogger is to increase all Muslim blogs’ visibility and readership.

  2. I’ve been mainly reading just three (muslim) blogs.
I found Perplxintexan’s blog to be interesting, so I’ll probably add that to my small list!

    http://www.jannahsteps.com

I have found it very interesting in getting to know my community better! However, I have found that people like to download things, or take from the blog (alhumdulillah, which is the point!), but they do not like to leave comments! I do not find that in other blogs when I am reading them….Am I doing something wrong? How long does a blogger have to blog until you have a somewhat loyal following who likes to leave comments??

  12. Assalaamu Alaykum

The Muslim blogs that i’m currently following are:

    1. MuslimsRus.wordpress.com

    2. Musamills.wordpress.com

    3. Muslimsinkenya.wordpress.com

  13. I know its for the ones I read- but I’ve only just made my own and I can’t tell any of my friends about this because they don’t know I’m muslim.
Sometimes some things I shall post are going to be a bit controversial.

Its story-like and mainly about how I’m gonna get through life as a Muslim, and if you don’t like diary-like blogs then it wouldnt be for you. But please visit it and comment- its gonna be hard not advertising it through people I know.

I browse through so many Muslim blogs on a daily basis, I’m surprised to find I was unfamiliar with many of those mentioned here.

http://islamiclearningmaterials.com (a blog about Islam in general)
http://muslim-religion.net (a blog about Islam in America as I’ve seen it.)

  17. @Samir – Cool blog. I never really knew about it before you posted a link. Thanks for sharing

@Jannah – You have an interesting twist on things. I looked around at a couple of the posts on your blog. Good stuff Masha’Allah

@abuibo – I know what you mean about unfamiliar. One of reasons I put this post up was so that all of us can discover new Muslim blogs that are out there. So many have good material but are unknown.
